Catarina

Catarina is the creator, designer, founder and owner of Daladräkt AB.
She is a wife, mother, grandmother, goddaughter, mentor and friend. She is ¼ Dalkulla (Dalecarlian girl) and Swedish, living between Stockholm, Sandhamn, Roquelaure (France), and Dalarna.

She is a legal researcher: Juris doctor LL D, professor of company and finance law, author of five books, and her own dissertation Prospectus Liability – Caveat emptor or caveat venditor.

In her personal time, Catarina enjoys sailing, deep-water diving, skiing, playing tennis and golf, hunting and farming. She has participated in Vasaloppet in Dalarna, during which she enjoys the nature and the snow.
Catarina is a humanist and philanthropist, loving adventures and challenges. A choir-singer, she cherishes music and aesthetics, which she believes culminate in the writings of Søren Aabye Kierkegaard.
Catarina’s creations for Daladräkt are based on her lifelong knowledge of Dalecarlian traditional costumes, traditions and culture, together with her expertise in haute couture fashion.
